The Rolling Tide Vs. The Hungry Bulldogs

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide and University of Georgia Bulldogs are preparing for a battle of the SEC’s finest, in tonight’s NCAA College Football National Championship game. Tonight’s game is not only a renewal of a storied rivalry, but also the game is enhanced because it pits Bulldogs Coach Kirby Smart against his mentor and teacher Nick Saban.

Both teams took very different roads to get to this game.  The Crimson Tide had over a month to prepare for their rubber match against the University of Clemson Tigers. Defensive domination was the story for the Tide as they destroyed the Tigers, on their way to a 24-6 victory in the Sugar Bowl.

It took two overtimes for the Georgia Bulldogs to prevail against the University of Oklahoma Sooners. The Bulldogs defense and rushing attack helped them score a thrilling victory over the Sooners. In what has been called one of the best Rose Bowl games ever.

The Tide will be relying on their defensive playmakers like star safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to stop the vaunted rushing attack of the Bulldogs. The Tide will also need a big-time performance by sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurtz as well.

Hurts did not play as well as he could in last year’s championship game against Clemson. He is looking to redeem himself, by leading the Tide to their fourth championship in four years. Hurts is also trying to prove that he is not the worst quarterback to ever lead the Tide to a championship.

The Bulldogs are playing with house money they were not expected to get to the title game, and they have the ultimate homefield advantage. The game is being played in Atlanta, GA. The team has been feeding off the Georgia vs everybody mentality.

The Bulldogs have been leaning on their rushing attack which is led by senior running backs Sony Michel and Nick Chubb. They have also gotten to this game, due to star quarterback Jake Fromm. Fromm has been a huge part of Georgia’s success. He has been playing with experience beyond his years, and he is only a freshman.

Kirby Smart now gets a chance to end his team’s storied run with a championship title victory and all he must do is beat his teacher Nick Saban.

The SEC has been called one of the best conferences in college football, and at 8 pm EST one of these teams has a chance to prove it.

  1. Hello ,

I saw your tweet about animals and thought I will check your website. I like it!

I love pets. I have two beautiful thai cats called Tammy(female) and Yommo(male). Yommo is 1 year older than Tommy. He acts like a bigger brother for her. 🙂
I have even created an Instagram account for them ( https://www.instagram.com/tayo_home/ ) and probably soon they will have more followers than me (kinda funny).

I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂

Keep up the good work on your blog.

    Regards
