Kobe retires as one of the greatest scorer’s in NBA History

On Thursday, April 14th 2016, the eyes of the world were tuned in to the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, for the final game for Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. Kobe’s last game was against the Utah Jazz.

Bryant went out with a bang scoring 60 points and wrapping a bow around this otherwise dismal season for the Los Angeles Lakers. This season was filled with ups and downs for the Lakers legend as the team had one of the worst records in the NBA, a tough pill to swallow for the five-time NBA champion.

A season not only filled with goodbyes for Kobe but drama all around in Laker land. As the season was filled with drama between teammates as a video released of Lakers guard Nick Young admitting to possibly cheating on his future wife Iggy Azalea.

For one night all of that was forgotten as Kobe shot the ball 50 times and made 22 shots. On his way to 60 points. He outscored the entire Jazz team in the third quarter putting up 41 points in that quarter alone. Bryant never really was known as a guy who liked to share the ball, and he lived up to that mantra in his last game.

Kobe Bryant will go down as one of the greatest Lakers ever, it is a true shame that the Lakers did not bother to put more talent around him.  So he could make one last playoff run in his NBA career. However, Kobe did not go out quietly as he reminded the world why he is one of the greatest scorers in NBA history.
